What this covers

  • A broad panel covering metabolic, thyroid, lipid and hormone markers.
  • The DUTCH test, a dried urine panel for adrenal and sex hormones.
  • A methylation panel, covering pathways involved in energy and detoxification.
  • A licensed provider chooses the panel with you, so the testing answers a question you actually have.

What happens

It starts with a free call and nothing is decided on it. A licensed provider makes every clinical decision after that, with you.

A man at home in a denim shirt, on a phone call.
  1. Book a free call with the care team.

  2. A licensed provider orders the panel that matches what you want to understand.

  3. You give your sample at a local draw site, or collect at home where the test allows it.

  4. A provider reviews the results with you and explains what they do and do not show.

People usually ask about this when

  • Starting hormone therapy or a weight programme and wanting a baseline
  • Symptoms that a routine visit has not explained yet
  • Tracking change over time rather than guessing
  • Wanting a panel that goes wider than a standard annual check
  • Having had testing done before and wanting to go through it with a provider

What to expect on the call

  • The call is with the Miracle Leaf® care team, not with a provider, and no test is ordered on it.
  • You will be asked what you are hoping to find out. That is what decides which panel is appropriate, so it is worth thinking about beforehand.
  • You can ask what each panel covers, how the sample is given, and how long it takes to come back, before committing to anything.
  • Nothing is charged for the call.
  • If you go ahead, a licensed provider reviews what you have said and orders the panel. If you do not, nothing further happens.

Have this ready

  • A photo ID, and the state you will be in at the time of your evaluation. A provider has to be licensed there.
  • What you are hoping to find out. That is what decides which panel a provider orders, so it is worth putting into a sentence beforehand.
  • Any results from previous testing, if you have them, so a provider can compare rather than repeat.
  • A list of anything you currently take, so the provider has the full picture when the results come back.

Miracle Leaf® does not evaluate, diagnose, prescribe or dispense. A licensed provider decides whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Common questions

What happens after the call?
If you go ahead, a licensed provider orders the panel and you receive instructions for giving your sample, either at a draw site near you or at home where the test allows it. When the results are back, a provider goes through them with you. What comes next depends on what they show, and that is a decision the provider makes with you.
How long does the first call take?
As long as your questions take. It is a phone call with the care team rather than a medical appointment, so there is no fixed slot to get through, and there is no charge either way.
Do I need a referral or an existing diagnosis to order a panel?
No. A licensed provider reviews what you want to understand and orders testing where it is appropriate. Nobody at Miracle Leaf® makes that call.
Where do I give the sample?
For a blood draw, at a local draw site. Some panels are collected at home and posted back to the lab. The care team tells you which applies to the panel a provider has ordered.
Who explains what the panel shows?
A licensed provider goes through it with you, including what the panel does not show. A number on its own is not a diagnosis, and that review is part of the service rather than an extra step.
Can testing lead straight to a prescription?
Not automatically. Testing informs a provider decision, and the provider decides separately whether any treatment is appropriate. Ordering a panel commits you to nothing.
What if the panel comes back unremarkable?
That is a real answer, and often the point of testing. A provider goes through it either way, and there is no obligation to do anything afterwards.
