What this covers

  • Prescription continuous glucose monitors, worn for fourteen days at a time.
  • Available as a single sensor, or as an ongoing monthly subscription.
  • Readings go to a free mobile app, so you can see them as they happen.
  • A licensed provider decides whether a monitor is appropriate, and goes through what the readings do and do not tell you.

What happens

It starts with a free call and nothing is decided on it. A licensed provider makes every clinical decision after that, with you.

A man on a sofa at home, reading something on his phone.
  1. Book a free call with the care team.

  2. A licensed provider decides whether a monitor is appropriate for you.

  3. Sensors ship to you, with patches included.

  4. You review what the data shows with a provider.

People usually ask about this when

  • Wanting to see how specific meals and habits affect you, rather than estimating
  • Managing weight and wanting objective data alongside whatever else you are doing
  • A family history that makes metabolic health worth watching
  • Having been given one number at one appointment and wanting a fuller picture
  • Curiosity about what actually moves your readings over an ordinary day

What to expect on the call

  • The call is with the Miracle Leaf® care team, not with a provider, and no monitor is prescribed on it.
  • You will be asked what you are hoping to learn from wearing one. A monitor shows you data. It does not treat anything.
  • You can ask how the sensor is applied, how long it lasts, and what the app does, before deciding.
  • Nothing is charged for the call.
  • If you go ahead, a licensed provider reviews your intake and decides whether a monitor is appropriate for you.

Have this ready

  • A photo ID, and the state you will be in at the time of your evaluation. A provider has to be licensed there.
  • A list of anything you currently take.
  • A shipping address for the sensors, and a phone that can run the free sensor app.
  • What you want to learn from wearing one. That shapes how a provider reviews the readings with you afterwards.

Miracle Leaf® does not evaluate, diagnose, prescribe or dispense. A licensed provider decides whether treatment is appropriate for you.

Common questions

What happens after the call?
If a licensed provider decides a monitor is appropriate, the sensors ship to your address with patches included. You wear each one for fourteen days and the readings appear in the app as they happen. A provider reviews what the data shows with you; it is not left to you to interpret alone.
How long does the first call take?
As long as your questions take. It is a phone call with the care team rather than a medical appointment, so there is no fixed slot to get through, and there is no charge either way.
Is a prescription needed?
Yes. The monitors supplied through this service are prescription devices, so a licensed provider has to decide one is appropriate before anything ships.
How does the sensor reach me?
It is posted to you, with the patches needed to wear it.
What does a monitor actually do?
It records glucose readings continuously while it is worn and sends them to an app, so you can see how your own day affects them. It is a measuring tool. It does not treat anything and it changes nothing by itself.
What happens at the end of the fourteen days?
You can go through what the sensor recorded with a provider. Whether you continue with another sensor or a subscription is your decision, and stopping is not a problem.
Can I keep seeing my own doctor?
Yes. Nothing here replaces your own clinician, and you are free to take anything a monitor records to them.
